Bahler Street Pizza is slated to open a brick-and-mortar location in spring of 2025.

The details

The business operates out of a mobile food truck, but recently announced its first brick-and-mortar location on the border of Georgetown and Round Rock. The location will be found at the corner of Westinghouse Road and FM 1460, known as A.W. Grimes Boulevard in Round Rock.

Co-owner Frank Riggle said the interior of the business has a Georgetown address while the parking lot has a Round Rock address.

When asked why they chose Georgetown and Round Rock for the location, Riggle said the business wanted to go where their customers are.

“When we started, we thought we were initially going to be in Temple, but the vast majority of our business came from Georgetown and Round Rock so it just made sense for us,” Riggle said.

The new location will be branded as B Street and will offer a limited menu of Bahler Street pizzas. Riggle said the space will be shared with a taproom by Barking Armadillo Brewing, a family-owned Georgetown brewery.

The mobile food truck will remain operational and available for events.

What they offer

The food truck specializes in wood-fired sourdough pizza with menu items featuring unique toppings, such as fresh blackberries, orange marmalade onion jam and roasted pumpkin.

Riggle said one must-try menu item for new customers is the James and the Giant Peach pizza which features a fig base with fresh chunked mozzarella topped with smoked applewood bacon, thin Texas peaches, basil and smoked sea salt.
