The Salty New Yorker, a home-based bagel shop, serves authentic New York bagels using dough made in-house daily.

The business was founded by former New Jersey resident Bethany Simas, who named The Salty New Yorker after her husband, John.

The shop receives to-go orders online and hopes to begin selling at the Wolf Ranch Farmers Market, Simas said.
