Homebuilder Meritage Homes will be opening two new model homes and a new phase in the MorningStar community in Georgetown, according to a March 8 news release.

The neighborhood located at the northeast corner of Hwy. 29 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard is in Liberty Hill ISD, according to the release.

This new community offers seven floor plans from Meritage Homes' Americana collection and seven floor plans from the homebuilder's Reserve collection, the release said. The new phase will also include the community’s third amenity center for residents.

Starting in the high $300,000s, there are 410 lots ranging from 1,242-2,852 square feet, according to the release.

“MorningStar has been a highly sought after community due to its thoughtful layout, great schools, and area growth. We see this as a tremendous opportunity to build on the success we’ve achieved in MorningStar so far, closing over 350 homes in the previous phases,” said James Saunders, Meritage Homes' Austin Division president, in the release. “We are thrilled to continue providing homes in the next phases of this community.”

The phase will start construction this spring, the release said.
