Several construction projects are ongoing throughout the city of Georgetown, including many single-family residential projects and new commercial development.

1. Century 21 Hellman Stribling is redeveloping office space at 801 S. Main St. The real estate company planned to move into its new location in early October.

2. 600 Degrees Pizzeria & Drafthouse, 124 E. Eighth St., plans to began construction to expand its restaurant in October. The expansion could also include additions to the restaurant’s menu and beer selection

3. Construction continues in the La Conterra neighborhood to build infrastructure for new homes. The new phases of La Conterra include 267 lots. KB Home is the project’s developer.

4. Construction of a seven-story Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center is underway in The Summit at Rivery Park development at Rivery Boulevard and I-35. The project also includes 114 single-family brownstone residences and 223 multifamily units in the Rivery Park Apartments as well as space for future retail and restaurants. The 224-room hotel and conference center is expected to open in summer 2016.
