Williamson County and Cities Health District reported seven new cases of the coronavirus May 21, bringing the county total to 520, according to a daily report.

Of the 520 confirmed cases, 292 have recovered, the report said.

Currently, 24 patients are hospitalized, up from 16 the day prior, and seven are in intensive care, up from four the day prior, per the report. Three patients are on a ventilator, it said.

The WCCHD also reported 43% of beds and 67% of ventilators are available.


On May 20, the county reached 513 confirmed cases.

  • Cedar Park: 38

  • Georgetown: 67

  • Hutto: 36

  • Leander: 41

  • Round Rock: 254

  • Other: 55
