Williamson County's total number of confirmed coronavirus cases stands at 352 as of May 7, according to a Williamson County and Cities Health District report. The number is up 11 cases from 341 May 6.

Of the 352 confirmed cases, 205 have recovered, the report said.

Currently, 15 patients are hospitalized, eight are in the intensive care unit and two patients are on a ventilator, per the report.

On May 6, the county reported its 12th death, a male in his 90s.


Williamson County is also working to increase its test capacity, partnering with Family Emergency Room in Cedar Park and Round Rock and working to open a temporary mobile testing site in Taylor on May 9. Those who wish be tested must be symptomatic and have filled out an online assessment granting them an appointment time.
