What would your top priorities be if elected?
I have successfully fought to cut taxes, secure the border, protect kids and girls’ sports, create jobs, cut red tape, strengthen our schools, expand technical education, and empower parents. I will continue advancing these priorities while responsibly regulating AI and preserving Texas for generations to come.
What will you do to bring down the cost of living for Texas residents?
I’ve delivered $69 billion in property tax relief by raising the homestead exemption and compressing school taxes. I will keep fighting to lower property taxes and energy costs, cut burdensome regulations on small businesses, expand technical education and career opportunities, and help Texas families keep more of their hard-earned money.
How will you balance the development of data centers and other large projects with constituent concerns about rapid growth?
I passed guardrails into law to protect our quality of life against AI and technology. I support development that creates jobs and strengthens our economy, but projects must cover infrastructure costs they create, protect our water and power resources, and respect surrounding communities. Growth must benefit Texans, not burden them.
What would your top priorities be if elected?
My top priorities are lowering costs for families, fully funding our public schools, and making healthcare more affordable. I’ll support small businesses, strengthen public safety, and fight for a government that respects individual liberty, protects our rights, and stays out of decisions that belong to Texans.
What will you do to bring down the cost of living for Texas residents?
I’ll lower property taxes by properly funding public schools, reduce utility costs through stronger oversight and ending tax exemptions for data centers, and lower healthcare costs by taking on mega corporations profiting off Texans. Families deserve a state government focused on lowering their bills, not protecting corporate giveaways and profits.
How will you balance the development of data centers and other large projects with constituent concerns about rapid growth?
I’m calling for a moratorium on new data centers. They should not take our land for transmission lines, strain our electric grid, or drain our water supply. We can support businesses and create good jobs without sacrificing our resources or asking Texas families to subsidize massive corporations.
