The testing will be for those who are symptomatic—including fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat, headaches, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, nasal congestion and loss of taste and/or smell.
Tests will only be conducted on those who have completed an online screening. Appointments are required and can be made as early as 7 a.m. May 8, county officials said.
Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell said the testing will take place at the Taylor Regional Park, 210 Carlos G. Parker Blvd., Taylor, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
The testing site is in collaboration with the United States National Guard, which will provide doctors, nurses and test kits, Gravell said.
