Williamson County announced a temporary coronavirus testing site to be held May 9 in Taylor, according to the county’s Twitter page. The testing will be for those who are symptomatic—including fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat, headaches, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, nasal congestion and loss of taste and/or smell.

Tests will only be conducted on those who have completed an online screening. Appointments are required and can be made as early as 7 a.m. May 8, county officials said.

Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell said the testing will take place at the Taylor Regional Park, 210 Carlos G. Parker Blvd., Taylor, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

The testing site is in collaboration with the United States National Guard, which will provide doctors, nurses and test kits, Gravell said.
