Williamson County and Cities Health District confirmed 24 new cases of the coronavirus April 24, bringing the county total to 206. This is the largest daily jump in Williamson County so far, data shows.

On April 23, the county saw 15 additional cases, which had been the highest daily jump at that time.


Of the confirmed cases, 124 patients have recovered, a district report said, and five have died. Currently, there are 12 patients hospitalized, per the report.

Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell said the county is not legally able to release the specific counts in cities with fewer than 20,000 residents.
