2. Georgetown Palace presents ‘Disney’s Newsies’
Disney’s “Newsies” tells the story of newsboy Jack Kelly and his fellow “newsies” as they rally to fight for what’s right in turn-of-the-century New York City. The Williamson County Texas Master Gardeners Association's “Hands-On in the Garden” program will teach attendees, “What is a weed?” The class will discuss weed identification and how to prevent and eradicate weeds, and will be followed by demonstrations of cultivation techniques and weed management tools. 9-11 a.m. Free.
