  1. Trivia night at Shade Tree Wine Bistro

2. Georgetown Palace presents ‘Disney’s Newsies’
Disney’s “Newsies” tells the story of newsboy Jack Kelly and his fellow “newsies” as they rally to fight for what’s right in turn-of-the-century New York City. The production will run through Sept. 29. 7:30 p.m. $29 (student, military, seniors), $32 (adult). Georgetown Palace Theatre, 810 S. Austin Ave. 512-869-7469.

3. Music on the Square
Dueling Pianos will take audience requests in the final Music on the Square for the season. Attendees should bring chairs and blankets. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Free. Georgetown Square, 710 Main St. 800-436-8696.


4. Hands-On in the Garden
The Williamson County Texas Master Gardeners Association’s “Hands-On in the Garden” program will teach attendees, “What is a weed?” The class will discuss weed identification and how to prevent and eradicate weeds, and will be followed by demonstrations of cultivation techniques and weed management tools. 9-11 a.m. Free. 5. Country dancing at Roots
Learn how to country- and line-dance at Roots Bistro on the Georgetown Square. DJ Gavin will teach how to two-step. 6:30-7 p.m. Roots Bistro, 118 W. 8th St. 512-863-7080.
