With all precincts reporting, Ben Stewart has secured the District 7 seat on Georgetown City Council.

Stewart won with 322 votes, or 67.93%.

Jaquita Wilson-Kirby had 152 votes, or 32.07%.

With 8 out of 27 precincts reporting, Ben Stewart still has the upper hand against Jaquita Wilson-Kirby.

Stewart has accumulated 309 votes, or 67.32%.

Wilson-Kirby has earned 150 votes, or 32.68%.

Though Ben Stewart is the only official candidate on the ballot for Georgetown City Council District 7, write-in candidate Jaquita Wilson-Kirby has received a few early votes.

As of May 7 at 7:07 p.m., Stewart has received 205 votes, or 70.93%. Wilson-Kirby has received 84 votes, or 29.07%.

Early in-person voting was held April 25-30 and May 2-3.

Total ballots from May 7 have yet to be released. This article will be updated as more election day vote totals are released.
