Georgetown to host dance for adults with disabilities April 29

The city of Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a free dance for adults with disabilities April 29 at the Georgetown Community Center, 445 E. Morrow St., Georgetown, according to a release.

The event is designed for, but not limited to, people age 18 and older with special needs. The GPRD asks that guests have a family member and/or caregiver present at all times.

Additionally, the city is looking for volunteers to help with the concession stand, photo booth and greeting attendees.

Local organizations also are welcome to participate in the dance.
