Dale Ross: 3,442 votes (72.24 percent)
Sherwin Kahn: 1,323 votes (27.76 percent)

District 2
Valerie Nicholson: 389 votes (53.58 percent)
David Sray: 337 votes (46.42 percent)

District 6
Rachael Jonrowe: 400 votes (75.76 percent)
Lawrence Romero 128 votes (24.24 percent)

The same candidates who took the lead in early voting continue to lead the Georgetown City Council race based on Election Day results tallied so far.

Here are the results to this point:

Mayor
Dale Ross: 3,303 votes (72.77 percent)
Sherwin Kahn: 1,236 votes (27.23 percent)

District 2
Valerie Nicholson: 379 votes (53.53 percent)
David Sray: 329 votes (46.47 percent)

District 6
Rachael Jonrowe: 305 votes (75.31 percent)
Lawrence Romero 100 votes (24.69 percent)




Two incumbent Georgetown City Council members have taken large leads to start May 6 election night, according to early voting election results released shortly after polls closed at 7 p.m.

Mayor Dale Ross, with 2,601 votes, or 73.96 percent, leads challenger Sherwin Kahn, who garnered 916 votes, or 26.04 percent of early voting support. District 6 Council Member Rachael Jonrowe received 267 votes, or 76.72 percent of all early votes, compared with Lawrence Romero, who has 81 votes, 0r 23.28 percent of support so far.

Valerie Nicholson, with 276 votes, or 55.95 percent, leads an open race to replace District 2 Council Member Keith Brainard. She is trailed closely by David Sray, who received 217 votes, or 44.02 percent, during early voting.

Candidates spoke during an April 18 election forum about their plans for Georgetown should they be elected.
