Juan & Lupe's Kitchen first opened off Williams Drive in 2020, and marked its five-year anniversary in October, according to previous Community Impact reporting.
The locally owned spot served Southern-style Mexican food, including tacos and tortas.

"To those who supported us from the beginning and to those who became friends and family over the years, we are tremendously thankful for your loyalty and support," the statement says. "We will miss you all dearly but please know this was the best decision for our family."
