The Vera Gallery is set to open in the Georgetown Town Square in April, owner Gregory Sharp said in an email.

In a nutshell

The gallery’s collection includes thousands of original artwork pieces created by American artist Vera Neumann between 1942-1993, Sharp said in the email.

Sharp said The Vera Gallery will offer:
  • Modern, contemporary and local art
  • Custom framing services
  • Boutique items
  • Archived scarves created by Neumann
  • New hand-rolled, silk-made scarves
The store will also provide art-focused events, such as live painting. Sharp said he owns The Vera Gallery alongside Christina Sharp.

The Vera Gallery will replace Georgetown Antique Mall, which closed in January after over three decades of business on the square.
