The Georgetown community now has a Frontier Bank branch.

What to know

The new Georgetown branch is the bank's 11th location. Its first location opened in Elgin in 2007, per the business’ website.

The bank offers personal and business baking options including checking accounts, debit and credit cards and savings accounts. Additionally, community members can find information on loans and wealth management.

A grand opening celebration was held on Dec. 5 with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce.

Quote of note

“During the past year, it has become clear that Georgetown is a good fit for the banking capabilities and extraordinary personal service Frontier is known for,” Marcos Gonzalez, Frontier Vice President and Georgetown Market Manager said. “Georgetown is a community with its own identity and the families and businesses here want a bank that is more than a financial partner. They want someone who shares and invests in their town, their schools and their lifestyle.”
