Family Care Center held a ribbon cutting for its new Georgetown location on Nov. 7, following its Sept. 23 opening.

What they offer

The mental health clinic treats a variety of patients, including individuals, couples, families and veterans, according to a news release. Care at the center includes:
  • Therapy and counseling services
  • Psychiatry and medication management
  • Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)
TMS treats depression, OCD and other conditions for patients who don’t see adequate results from antidepressants or other treatments, according to FCC’s website.

In their own words

At the ribbon cutting, Dr. Charles Weber, FCC founder and chief medical officer, thanked the clinic’s leaders and emphasized the center’s mission of making the greatest positive impact on communities.

As a Georgetown resident, Jami Stobaugh, a licensed professional counselor and FCC Georgetown's clinical supervisor, said she’s seen how mental health has affected the area.

“I'm so excited to be in Georgetown and I'm so happy that we're here and we can serve our community,” Stobaugh said.

How it started

The clinic was founded by two U.S. Army Veterans in 2016.

Its other locations in the greater Austin area are in Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Round Rock and central Austin.
