Cosmic Roots Nature School, a school that integrates outdoor learning into every subject, will open in the fall and is accepting students ages 3-15.

The school has a Montessori-influenced curriculum, which is a style of teaching that prioritizes a student’s interests over formal methods.

Children ages 3-6 will be taught practical life skills, math, language and cultural subjects. For ages 6-9, lessons are designed around developing reasoning skills. Classes for ages 9-12 are focused on subjects like art, biology, grammar and history. Additionally, the adolescent program for ages 12-15 is tailored around seminar-style learning.

Additional programs include after school care, farm Fridays, equine, Beesness, automotive, bushcraft skills, herbal healing and 3D printing.
