Mary and Richard Shafer opened Sunshine Kids Consignment & Boutique in Georgetown in early May.

The half-consignment, half-boutique store specializes in high-quality organic cotton and Pima cotton clothing as well as upscale consignment items for children ranging from newborns to teens.

Available brands include Stephan Baby, Baby Loren, Mary Meyer Stuffed Toys, Nola Tawk and Little Hometown. The store also sells secondhand children’s books.
