Austin Fine Arts Academy will begin offering private lessons and a children's choir at First Baptist Georgetown in late January.

Starting Jan. 22, the business will offer private voice, piano and beginner guitar lessons for all ages on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Additionally, the academy is launching the Georgetown Community Children's Chorus for kindergarteners-fifth graders. The choir will meet from 4-5 p.m. on Tuesdays from Jan. 23-May 7 and will conclude the semester with a concert.

Austin Fine Arts Academy is owned by Brett Ellis, and Diana Ellis is the academy's Georgetown manager and voice and piano teacher.

The Christian organization aims to partner with local churches to bring fine arts education to the community. Austin Fine Arts Academy's original location is at Hillcrest Church in north Austin.
