In-home care includes regular visits from nurses and physicians. Seniors may receive occupational, speech and physical therapy services.
On Jan. 16, Acclaimed Angels Home Care will open three personal care homes in Georgetown staffed 24/7 with workers trained in dementia care. The organization does not provide the addresses for these homes to protect their clients' privacy.
The nonprofit seeks to help seniors age in place at home as opposed to larger nursing homes or assisted living facilities, Regional Operations Director Lea Franks said.
Acclaimed Angels Home Care also serves Austin, Round Rock and Pflugerville, and will begin serving Manor in late January.
