Family Dollar, which offers low prices on items including groceries, cleaning supplies, toiletries, seasonal decor and toys, is closing in Georgetown. The store began offering a 30% discount on all remaining inventory Nov. 13 and will close earlier than the anticipated closing date if stock runs out, an associate said. The retailer's next closest stores are in Austin and Bartlett.
