After serving Georgetown for two years, Longhorn Mac Repair will close its doors at 1013 W. University Ave., Ste. 165, Georgetown, and consolidate all its technology work to its first location in Pflugerville.

Longhorn Mac Repair opened in 2011 at 2700 Pecan St. W., Ste. 500, Pflugerville. After 11 years of success, owner Patrick Cook expanded to Georgetown in February 2020. However, due to COVID-19, Cook realized he can offer the same quality of service from one storefront.

"We will maintain our Pflugerville location as it is the larger of the two, as well as keep on our staff," Cook said. "We want to continue to support our Georgetown folks and help those unable to make the trip, so we will offer a pickup and drop-off service to Georgetown residents."

The business specializes in fixing Apple products, specifically MacBooks, iPhones and iPads.

The Georgetown store will officially close Oct. 7.
