QuikTrip coming to Georgetown

QuikTrip, a convenience store and gas station, is opening a new location in Georgetown. The store is expected to open by summer 2022 and will be approximately 3,500 square feet. The store will be equipped with gasoline, grocery items and QT kitchens that will offer fresh food and drinks.

Zydeco Ice celebrates 15-year anniversary



Zydeco Ice celebrated its 15-year anniversary April 22. The business offers over 50 flavors of New Orleans-style shaved ice. Zydeco Ice is located at 915 N. Austin Ave., Georgetown.

Round Rock

Camp Doublecreek property to be recommended for zoning change

In a move initiated by the owners of Camp Doublecreek, the camp's current property located at 800 Double Creek Drive, Round Rock, has been approved to be recommended for a zoning change by the city of Round Rock's Planning and Zoning Commission to City Council.


The zoning change would turn the camp's property into a planned unit development for single-family detached and attached residences, according to the April 21 commission meeting agenda.

Flow Yoga relocates Cedar Park studio

Flow Yoga opened its relocated Cedar Park studio April 17. The 4,000-square-foot flagship studio has three practice rooms and offers 11 types of yoga practices with regular and heated sessions.


Southwest Austin

Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club could open Southwest Austin course this fall

The 18-hole, Tom Fazio-designed golf course being constructed in Southwest Austin near Salt Lick BBQ is on schedule to be completed by the end of the spring with an official opening expected this fall.
