- Watch the “A Christmas Carol” classic turn comedy
Looking to get in a festive mood? Watch the Palace Playhouse’s production of Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society's Production of A Christmas Carol: A Comedy. The ladies of the dramatic society bring their stage version of Charles Dickens’ classic novel “A Christmas Carol.” The production runs through Dec. 30. Time varies. $30. 2. Christmas has arrived on the Georgetown Square
The Georgetown Square embraces all things Christmas this weekend with the 38th annual Christmas Stroll. 3. Calling all pecan lovers
The Williamson County Pecan Food Show searches for the best pecan dish in the county. Competitive categories include pecan pie, pecan bars, pecan bread and rolls, pecan candy, pecan cake, pecan cookies, pecan fancy nuts and savory pecan dish. 4. Compete in a fishing derby
Georgetown Parks and Recreation hosts its annual Fishing Fest at Garey Park where any fish caught wins a prize. Participation is open to children age 12 and younger. 5. San Gabriel Chorale to perform at Georgetown Symphony Society Annual Holiday Concert
The San Gabriel Chorale brings life Handel’s Messiah in a performance at the Klett Performing Arts Center. The chorale performs along with Temple College Choral and other guests at the Georgetown Symphony Society Annual Holiday Concert. 4 .m. $5-$30. Old Town Christmas Festival, Leander
Watch Old Town Leander come alive and spread Christmas fun throughout the community.
