Austin-area drivers on Wednesday should keep an eye out for the safety of students participating in Walk or Bike to School Day.
The city of Austin, Austin ISD and Safe Kids Austin celebrate the event along with other students around the world.

In Northwest Austin, for example, Hill Elementary School students, parents and staff will commemorate the occasion with a walk led by the Anderson High School Drumline.
