Greg Casar raised nearly $17,000 in political donations during the last full month of election season, according to the final round of campaign finance reports due to election officials Monday.

Every opposed candidate in the Nov. 8 election must file a contributions and expenditures report eight days before the election. This latest round of reports, the final mandated disclosure before next Tuesday's election, covers all financials from Sept. 30-Oct. 29, according to the Texas Ethics Commission.

Donations to candidates for Austin City Council are not allowed to exceed $350, according to city code.

Here is how much donation money each candidate has earned and spent for the Austin City Council District 4 race during that timeframe:

Greg Casar: $16,857.35 in contributions, $30,084.04 in expenditures

Casar received 89 total contributions during this period, including 31 that were for the maximum amount. His top donors include Charles Attal, one of the founders of C3 Presents, the company behind Austin City Limits Music Festival; several managing principals at Endeavor Real Estate Group; and Jen and Joseph Strickland, co-owners of Home Slice Pizza.
