Hurricane Harvey Relief Collections

Edible Arrangements, along with Supercuts, will collect personal care items to be delivered to the evacuees being brought to Brookdale Georgetown, a local retirement and assisted living facility. First Friday: Perspectives on Healing exhibit opening

A new photography exhibit examining forgotten and overlooked practices will open at the Williamson Museum on Friday. Perspectives on Healing’s photographer, Ann Tarleton, will hold a talk on her work at the museum later this month. Blood Drive

The Georgetown Recreation Center will host We Are Blood, formerly the Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas, so residents can donate blood. Donors must be at least 17 years old, be in good health and weigh more than 115 pounds, among other requirements that can be found online. Free snacks and prizes will be provided. GTX Relief Donation Reception

Bring donations for victims of Hurricane Harvey to The Monument Cafe parking lot. From there, they will be transported to the Houston area. The most-needed items are pop-top canned foods, manual can openers, food and childcare supplies (not including toys), and new children's clothing. Used clothing will not be accepted.
