Austin Bluebonnet Egg Show
Callahan’s General Store is hosting its annual egg show on Saturday. Area farmers will bring in their eggs for judging. Eggs will be judged in three divisions–shell, contents and decorative. Prizes will be available.

Central Texas Food Bank—21 County Fair
The Central Texas Food Bank will hold its inaugural signature event that will feature food, live entertainment and fun interactive ways to help fight hunger while educating guests about the service and programs the food bank provides throughout the 21 county service area. Food, beer, and music are all available on site. General admission tickets are $35.

Tie Dye Workshop: Summer Sunset
The Art Garage is hosting a tie-dye workshop each month. Instructors will be there to help with new techniques taught each time. The studio is open for other art activities as well. Cost is $18 per shirt and includes all the materials to dye it and instructions. Guest are encouraged to call ahead to register.

Fixe’s Summer Brunch Series
Downtown’s dining hot spot Fixe will launch a Summer Brunch Series, serving up new brunch items and sides as well as signature Sunday Supper starting May 21. Some of the new brunch items include soft-boiled egg Benedict, brioche French toast, soft scrambled egg and more. In addition to the new dishes and sides, a brunch cocktail menu with five signature mimosas and Bloody Marys along with the full wine, beer and cocktail list will also be available. Menu prices vary.
