• Maintaining top-rated police, fire and EMS services must remain a top priority. • Guiding and managing quality economic development today and planning for the growth our citizens want in the future while meeting the current needs of our citizens. • City tax rates must be at a level that makes it affordable for all residents, and we must continue to update our comprehensive transportation plan as our explosive growth continues.Sherwin Kahn

Top priorities
• We need to consider sustainable growth, not just attainable growth. How far and fast can we grow and maintain our wonderful community?• We need to preserve the integrity of our neighborhoods. Too often we allow growth where issues of connectivity are not properly considered or planned.
• We need to become a community of greater inclusion where every citizen has a voice. We have become a community where only select voices are heard.

• As a longtime actor, director and volunteer at the Palace Theatre, I am committed to promoting and supporting arts and cultural events in Georgetown. These enhance our quality of life.• Georgetown is in demand. Let’s negotiate for mixed-use development, planned open spaces, school improvements and smart traffic plans when evaluating new development requests.
• Our upcoming fixed-route bus system is a step in the right direction. Let’s continue to develop and expand sidewalk, bike path and bus options to keep residents mobile.
