Georgetown City Council will hold a special meeting Nov. 3 to discuss personnel issues related to the city manager, Mayor Dale Ross said.

Ross declined further comment on the issue.

The meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the Georgetown Municipal Complex, 300-1 Industrial Ave.

Ross said the council would meet in executive session, and motions may be made out of executive session. The agenda for the meeting is expected to be posted later this afternoon.

On Oct. 28, City Council voted unanimously to direct the city attorney to prepare an agreement with City Manager Paul Brandenburg on terms discussed in executive session and to take other associated and related actions as directed in executive session.

Brandenburg, who has been the city manager since September2002, was not at the regular City Council meeting Oct. 28.
