Austin City officials plan to rename the Onion Creek Greenbelt and will accept suggestions from the public through Nov. 3.

If a member of the public suggests the greenbelt be named after an individual, he or she must provide a biographical sketch, a description of the person's involvement in the community and any connection the person had to the Austin park system, according to the city.
