Oakmont Food Company will be opening at the former location of Doc’s Bar and Grill, 1106 W. 38th St., Austin, in July. The new restaurant from Adam Muehling, who serves as Oakmont's executive chef and general manager, will offer healthy, local food with a market and bar, and the restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The restaurant will follow all social distancing guidance and protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to a media release. It will also open in phases, initially beginning with service 3-8 p.m. on Fridays and brunch 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
