Austin ISD trustees named Megan Tesano the new principal of Lamar Middle School on Jan. 27. According to a news release by the district, Tesano has been serving as Anderson High School’s academic director since 2015 and originally joined AISD in 2004.

Trustees approved the appointment as part of the consent agenda at their Jan. 27 meeting. Lamar Middle School is located at 6201 Wynona Ave., Austin. 512-414-3217. www.lamarmiddleschool.org
