"I'm excited to announce that we are moving our headquarters to Austin, Texas," Elon Musk said at Tesla’s annual stockholder meeting Oct. 7, which was held at Giga Texas, Tesla's under-development production plant in Southeastern Travis County.

The 57th annual Austin Trail of Lights will be a drive-thru only event through Zilker Park for the second year this season, organizers announced Oct. 7. The event will take place on select dates from Nov. 27-Dec. 31.

The Ironman Texas Triathlon will return to The Woodlands on Oct. 9. The 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike course and a 26.2-mile run will cause road closures throughout The Woodlands with potential traffic impacts beginning at 5 a.m.
