The Austin Community College District board of trustees is set for turnover after today's election. ACC could have as many as four new trustees, or at least three, by the end of the night. Place 6 trustee Guadalupe Sosa is the only incumbent seeking re-election—but she is doing so in the race for Place 9, which was vacated after long-time trustee Allen Kaplan retired. She faces candidates Mitch Fuller, Julie Ann Kitsch and Jeremy Story. In Place 4, George Robinson, Sean Hassan or Michael J. Lewis will replace outgoing trustee Jeffrey Richard. Thomas Miranda, Nicole Eversmann and Anthony Schoggins are vying for the Place 5 seat. Douglas Gibbins and Nora De Hoyos Comstock, candidates for Place 6, are in the only two-person ACC race.
