Southwestern restaurant Z’Tejas announced its original location at 1110 W. Sixth St., Austin, will shutter April 1. The restaurant’s closure has loomed since late summer 2022, when Z'Tejas announced the property owners would be developing the building after their lease was up.
The mini-chain has a location at Avery Ranch and two restaurants in Arizona, and is planning on expanding in both states. Z’Tejas’ newest restaurant will be located at 18920 S I-35 Frontage Road, Kyle, and is slated to open this summer.
