The TA Brown Neighborhood Park, located at 520 Northway Drive, Austin, received a new exercise area thanks to funding from the Neighborhood Partnering Program and the Austin Parks Foundation’s Austin City Limits Music Festival Grants Program. The previous exercise area and fitness equipment at the park were from the 1960s.

The Highland Neighborhood Association and the Austin Parks and Recreation Department are working together to increase the tree canopy in the park. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held in the fall after shade trees and irrigation are installed.
