The city of Austin is seeking public input as it develops a corridor mobility plan for the North Lamar Boulevard and Guadalupe Street corridors.

Improvements will address mobility, safety and connectivity for pedestrians, cyclists, drivers and users of public transportation, and will be funded by the $720 million voter-approved 2016 mobility bond.

This particular plan will address North Lamar Boulevard between Lady Bird Lake and US 183 and Guadalupe Street between 29th Street and North Lamar.

Similar plans have been developed for North Lamar between US 183 and the intersection of I-35 and Howard Lane and Guadalupe between East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and West 29th Street.

A public open house is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. March 8 at McCallum High School, 5600 Sunshine Drive, Austin. City staff are interested to hear from Austin residents about how they use these corridors, their priorities for improvements and what concerns they may have.
