There’s something for everyone this weekend in the Austin area, including fashion shows, live music,a food challenge and 5K. Here are six events for locals from May 8-10.

ATX Fashion Week
Models will walk the runway at The Domain for ATX Fashion Week, with a full weekend of events, shows and style.
The Far Out Lounge will host a three-day music festival featuring The Flaming Lips, Thee Sacred Souls and The Black Angels.
The Donut Dash through Downtown Round Rock challenges contestants to run a 5K, eat a dozen doughnuts and finish the race in under an hour. Participants may also run and eat on their own time.
The family-friendly spring festival celebrates birds with interactive activities such as bird shows, nature walks, arts and crafts, family activities, vendor booths and food trucks, all centered on migration and conservation.
Community Gardens will host a Mother’s Day pop-up with plants and local vendors in Bastrop.
