Valor Leander, a tuition-free classical charter school, is slated to open in August 2023.

Valor Leander will offer students an education rooted in the classical liberal arts tradition, from the Great Books to fine arts to advanced math and science, Director of Marketing and Communications Erin Fonner said. The headmaster of Valor Leander is Chris Ochoa, and the superintendent of schools is Steve Gordon.

The new Leander school will serve kindergarten through eighth grade students when it opens and will add a grade each year until it is a full K-12 school, Fonner said.
