The Thirsty Chicken, a daiquiri and wing restaurant, will open in January at 104 W. Willis St., Leander. The restaurant will serve wings, chicken strips, chicken sandwiches, daiquiris, beer and more, with dine-in and to-go service. Outdoor seating, karaoke nights, music and a dance floor will be part of the Old Town Leander restaurant. A grand opening is planned for Jan. 29, according to owner Sandra Lott. www.thethirstychicken.com
