Leander residents will cast ballots June 11 in a runoff election to determine two seats on City Council.
These races advanced to a runoff after no single candidate received more than 50% of votes in the May 7 local election.
In the Place 3 race, Juan Alanis and David McDonald are vying for the seat on City Council. McDonald received 43.1% of the vote during the May 7 election, while Alanis garnered 23.48%.
In the Place 5 race, incumbent Chris Czernek and challenger Bill Louden advanced to the runoff with 43.49% and 29.68% of the May 7 vote respectively.

Registered voters in Travis County can vote at Whitestone Elementary School at 2000 Crystal Falls Parkway.
Voting locations for both counties will be open from 7 a.m.-7 pm.
