Splash Shack, an indoor waterpark in Cedar Park, plans to expand its family-friendly activities with a minigolf course.

The course is in the preliminary design phase with the goal to open the course in late 2022, said Tom Davis, who owns Splash Shack with his wife, Lauren Davis. The course will include Splash Shack themes, and Tom Davis said the goal is to create a family entertainment complex for people of all ages.

“That is what's neat about putt-putt," Tom Davis said. "If you can hold a club, you can play. It doesn’t matter what your age is."

Cedar Park City Council unanimously approved a special-use permit Oct. 28 allowing the outdoor development.

The course will be built on Splash Shack's property near the corner of Bagdad Road and New Hope Drive. Splash Shack is located at 1801 Clover Lane, Cedar Park. https://splashshacktx.com
