Areas of Cedar Park and Far Northwest Austin saw lower prices and more days on the market in July compared to the previous year, according to data from the Austin Board of Realtors.

Over 100 homes in Cedar Park and Far Northwest Austin were sold in the $300,000-$699,999 price point in July.

Overall, the median home price in this market dropped with home prices in Far Northwest Austin ZIP code 78750 decreasing the most by nearly 22%.

Homes also stayed on the market longer in July. Homes in ZIP codes 78750, 78726 and 78717 all stayed on the market for 38 days, over twice as long compared to last year.

A few ZIP codes in this market saw a few more sales in July, although homes in Cedar Park ZIP code 78613 dropped by nearly 22% year over year.
