The resurfacing project is funded by 2022 bonds and annual pavement maintenance funds, according to agenda documents.
Two-minute impact
The work will include removing the top two inches of asphalt from the designated roads, placing a new two inch thick layer of asphalt, installing pavement markings and other repairs along the roadways, according to the documents.
This is the third round of major roads to be resurfaced since the 2022 bond program was approved, and it will complete the major road portion of the bond program, said Chris Brickey, Cedar Park’s capital projects manager.
What else?
The improvements will increase the longevity, rideability and aesthetic of the designated roads, according to the documents.
