Austin-based real estate development firm Bandali Builders has begun construction on a new shopping complex in Leander.

The Square at Crystal Falls will be a mixed-use development that will feature dining and retail options. Workers broke ground on the 27,000 square foot development in May with a planned opening date in the first quarter of 2026.
Magdalena Rivera, director of marketing for Bandali Builders, said the development hasn’t signed on any businesses officially, but the company is in “active conversations” with multiple prospective tenants.
“Our focus is on securing the right tenant mix that brings long term value to the neighborhood,” Rivera said.
