Texas Farmers' Market announced April 30 that its Lakeline market will relocate to the new mixed-use development Bell District in Cedar Park later this month.

The move comes after over a decade being located at Lakeline Mall on the border of Cedar Park and northwest Austin.

The details

According to TFM representatives, starting May 25, the market—which will be renamed TFM at Bell—will be held every Saturday year round from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine. The market will still be held at Lakeline May 4, 11 and 18, and TFM's other market on Mueller will remain open.

TFM at Bell will be the first destination in the Bell District development to open, representatives added. A public library and park are currently under construction and will open in late 2024 with shops, restaurants and residential units to follow.

"Cedar Park is becoming more of a cultural destination as Austin expands, and we are thrilled to see that expand with the Bell District and to be able to provide such a welcoming space for the community to access fresh, local food," TFM Executive Director Laura McDonald said in a news release. "We hope that this will bring even more members of the Northwest Austin community out to discover this market to support our vendors and local food system."

In addition to a more centralized location in Cedar Park, TFM representatives said the market's new location will:
  • Include over 90 vendors featuring fruit, veggies, meat, dairy, plants, artisan items and more
  • Have free parking and more greenery, shade and seating areas
  • Feature live music every weekend and special children's programming on the second Saturday of the month
  • Accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits year round and Women, Infants and Children benefits April through October
