The newest Domain hotel and second location of
Second Bar + Kitchen have been open for a little more than a week now, giving a nod to Texas flavors.
The eight-story
Archer Hotel Austin has 171 rooms, many of them suites featuring iconic floor-to-ceiling photo murals. The Archer den rooms feature a wet bar, living area and balcony with a fireplace.
Offering dining service to the hotel is the second location of Second Bar + Kitchen, which opened Aug. 30.
SBK’s terrace overlooks Palm Way and the Domain Northside park; Chef David Bull said the space is great for cocktails and snacks. The restaurant also provides service to the pool area, which features a circular pool with a star-shaped bottom, cabanas and a pool bar.
Archer has more than 16,500 square feet of space available for rent for meetings and events for groups of 10 to 300.
