Karen and Paul Tarlow, owners of Helios Fused Glass Studio, had maxed out their space on Anderson Mill Road, where the business existed for seven years.
In January 2015 the Tarlows moved the studio to Pond Springs Road, doubling the space.
Helios offers about 30 instructional fused-glass classes, from beginner to advanced levels.
The new location also means the business has a larger retail section and more studio space for students, Paul said.
“We teach a lot of beginners,” he said. “You don’t need any experience to come in and take a beginner class.”
Often a student who completes the beginner course returns to the studio to buy materials and take advantage of open studio hours, he said.
“It’s highly addictive,” Paul said.
